Cardiovascular learning modules and materials courtesy of Dr. HN Mayrovitz

There are three cardiovascular physiology learning modules that may be fun to use that can be downloaded.

These are .exe files and  will work on  a pc but  probably not work on a mac.
They are virus free and safe. Anti-virus software may think they are suspicious (because they are .exe files) but just ignore and download.

Use the link below to download the software.
You can save to any location in your computer
but saving to your desktop might be the most convenient
is probably the most convenient.

No installation is needed. After downloading simply

The above link leads to a PDF version of a text that was last provided to students in 2020.
The course material has substantially changed since then but some students feel that
the material in this document can be helpful and there have been many requests to
make it available.

To honor that request I have decided to make it available with the very important
provio and caution that it contains some material not presented in the current course by Dr. Mayrovitz
who at that time (2020) was responsible for the entire cardiovascular lecture set. Further, it is important to recognize that current lecture material if different supercedes anything in this document.

The document contains textual material that is linked to many of the figures and also contains bulllet point summaries for the various sections. The document also contains over 300 "one liner" questions designed to foster thinking about main topics and has some multiple choice questions designed to give a flavor for some of the concepts. However, it contains no answers to any of these questions so if that is frustrating to you be forwarned.
